"Oh Frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!" is what i scream out in my head when a day like this comes! The quote is from my favorite Lewis Carroll poem, "Jabberwocky".

Evie and Knox Stories is excited today because we are celebrating the release of our new Man in the Moon Video! You can watch the video here. It is about 2 little sisters reading a bedtime story to eachother. At the end, they are too tired to read and their loving dad picks up the last paragraph of the story. Throughout the video, you can see closeups of the illustrations with some animation in special places!

The adorable little voices reading to eachother will melt your heart.

We have many thanks to shout out for the making of this video. Kelly and David Silverman, from Cake Baby Productions, worked very hard in producing, directing and acting in the movie. Timothy Glover did the videography and color correction. Skylar and Ariel Jones are the sweet sibling actors. I tried my hand a animation. It was a labor of love and we hope you enjoy the result as much as we do! Thank you for stopping by!

To celebrate the pre-release of Where’s Wilson we’re getting into the sheep frenzy! Here are some nifty crafts Evie and I made over the weekend. Evie and I had a blast doing them, and now we have something cute to show for it. We also made an adorable moon craft to share with all our Man in the Moon fans!

It’s easy to get inspired by all the creative blogs out there. We put our own Evie and Knox Stories twists on some great ideas. To find out how to make these crafts go to:

Fingerprint sheep craft for kids >> Crafty Morning

Button moon collage >> Adventure in a box

Cotton ball sheep >> LooLeDo.com

Do you have a great Man in the Moon or Where’s Wilson inspired craft idea? We’d love for you to share it with us.

Have fun crafting with your little ones, and continue to follow us to learn what's next for Evie and Knox Stories!

Oh yeah, and don't forget to order your copy of Where's Wilson for a special pre-release price!

We’ve been having a blast this summer visiting bookstores, farmers markets and children’s museums with our fun-filled, sky-themed story time program! It has been such a wonderfully rewarding experience to share Man in the Moon with young readers.

A big thank you to The Book Worm in Powder Springs, The Grant Park Farmers Market (and Grant Park Parents Network), FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock and Imagine it! Children’s Museum of Atlanta for inviting us out.

Each venue added something unique and fun to the event. The kids dove right in to dancing and singing and even interacted with the stories! And of course, no great event is complete without bubbles—which is how we ended each story time. Good times were had by all, young and old!

The summer’s not over yet though. We still have story times planned in August at The Peachtree Road Farmers Market in Buckhead and Smyrna Fresh Produce Market. We’ll be sure to keep you posted about these and all future Evie and Knox Stories events.

If you’re interested in learning more about and/or hosting a story time with us, please send us a message via our contact page.

Our last book signing party of 2014 was a wonderful success! We'd like to thank everyone for coming out, including Blabla Kids!

Blabla shared their incredible handcrafted dolls at our event. Erin and I purchased dolls for Evie and Knox. Knox is getting his for Christmas, and Evie got her dog-doll the night of the event. She named him Button and loves him very much!

MetroFresh served delicious food (as always) and created a fun and festive atmosphere for the party! We gifted them with their very own copy of “Man in the Moon” for the store. We hope to do more events with them in the future!

Stay tuned for more events , signings and readings in 2015!
